Welcome to Player Status. We provide a recruitment bridge for the UK Football League System. This policy outlines how we handle player, coach, and scout data. Currently, Player Status operates as a pre-incorporation platform managed by its founders.

2. Data We Collect

Player Data

Physical attributes (Height, Weight, Preferred Foot).
Performance metrics and career history.
Postcode (used for radius-based club matching only).
Media: Profile photos and highlight reels (stored via Cloud Storage).

Professional Data

Coach/Scout/Agent credentials.
Club affiliation and professional contact details.

3. Visibility & Mutual Consent

To protect the privacy of all parties in the recruitment process, we operate a "Mutual Consent" model:

Location Privacy: Exact postcodes are never displayed. Users see only general "Areas" or "Radius" distances.
Contact Protection: Personal contact details (Phone/Email) are hidden by default.
The Handshake: Contact information is only exchanged once both parties have "Liked" or "Accepted" a connection request.

4. Age Requirements

Our platform is strictly for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from players under the age of 16. If we discover a profile belongs to a minor under 16, it will be terminated immediately.

5. Storage & Infrastructure

We utilise Cloud Storage to host profile imagery and highlight reels. While we implement industry-standard encryption, users should be aware that any media uploaded to a recruitment profile is intended for viewing by verified third parties (Clubs, Scouts, and Coaches).

6. Your Data Rights

Under UK data protection law, you have specific rights regarding your recruitment data:

Right to Access: You can request a copy of all data we hold on you.

Right to Rectification: You can update inaccurate playing history or stats at any time.

Right to Erasure: You can request that we delete your account and all associated media.

Right to Object: You can opt-out of appearing in scout search results.
